Vertex Advantage Plus helps you to simplify your tax compliance processes by providing a singular solution for the various phases of tax compliance. The service helps you to achieve the following:

• Support with completing registration for new tax authorities.
• Filing your tax declarations.
• Remitting the tax liability with the relevant tax authorities.

Deployment options

You can use Vertex Advantage Plus alongside Vertex for e-Commerce or on its own.

You can deploy Vertex Advantage Plus in the following ways:

• Standalone: You can use Vertex Advantage Plus on its own. In this case, you most likely use the Bulk Transaction Uploads feature.
• Vertex for e-Commerce: You can use Vertex Advantage Plus with Vertex for e-Commerce, using the service to help you to complete filing in supported regions.

API integration

To use Vertex Advantage Plus, you must have transactions present in the system.

You can use the API to integrate the service with your applications as described in the Transaction Modeling section. Once the API integration is complete, transactions will be present in the Dashboard.

Transaction processing

The following steps describe an example process flow:

1. User opens a declaration using the UI and uploads their tax report.
2. Vertex processes transaction data and returns a draft return for approval.
3. User approves the draft return.
4. Vertex files the tax return.
5. Vertex generates the payment in the Remittance UI.
6. User books the payment and settles Fexco in their local currency.
7. Vertex remits the tax to the tax authority.
