It evaluates transaction details—such as the buyer's location, whether the goods are physical or digital, and the tax jurisdiction—to determine the applicable invoicing rules and generate digital invoices.

Invoice details and variations

The service helps to ensure that invoices include the information required for various business requirements, including business-to-business (B2B) transactions and self-billed invoices.

Invoice delivery details

The service creates an HTML version of the invoice upon receiving a Confirm Transaction request. The invoice uses the information returned in the Store Transaction response.

The response includes a link to the invoice in the invoice_url field. Use the invoice_url value to integrate the invoice with your financial host system, or use the service's email and webhook notification feature to send or distribute the invoice.

The service sends the invoice to the liable party, which can be the buyer or the seller. If the buyer is liable, the service sends the invoice to the email address specified in the buyer_email field. If buyer_email is not specified, the service sends the invoice to the merchant.

You can hide the invoice_url from the API response if needed.

Credit note details

The exact fields that appear on the final credit note depend on your configuration settings (such as a custom logo or footer) and applicable local regulatory requirements.
