Standalone Vertex Invoice IQ
Everything you need to start integrating Standalone Vertex Invoice IQ.
Standalone Vertex Invoice IQ uses the dedicated Vertex Invoice IQ API to automate the generation, delivery, and management of digital invoices that meet business and regulatory requirements, but outside of tax determination.
The service provides real-time tax-compliant digital invoice generation that integrates with business workflows and supports both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) transactions. It evaluates transaction details—such as the buyer's location, whether the goods are physical or digital, and the tax jurisdiction—to determine the applicable invoicing rules and generate digital invoices.
Considerations
Note the following considerations:
- The service doesn't support single sign-on (SSO).
- You can't block countries or regions.
- You can't validate multiple tax numbers in a single request; you must send a single tax number per request.
Prerequisites
Ensure that you meet the following requirements:
- You must use Vertex O Series Cloud with the O Series Cloud REST API.
- You must have an active account and a valid license for Vertex O Series Cloud and Vertex Invoice IQ.
- You must complete the onboarding process.
- You need to review the Confirm Transaction request and Store Transaction response.
API authentication
Use one of the following credentials:
- Invoice IQ Test—For the sandbox environment
- Invoice IQ —For the production environment
Get a credential as described in Authentication and Access. Include the credential in your standard O Series Cloud authentication setup. For more information, see Authenticate O Series Cloud.
