Location Evidence Object Fields
Learn about the fields used to model customer location evidence.
These field references describe the fields in a location evidence object. For more information about location evidence, see Location Evidence.
The following evidence types are available:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
by_cc | Uses the card number to identify the buyer's location. |
forced | Uses the country specified in the evidence-value field to force the validation. Use this field for testing purposes. |
by_ip_address | Uses the buyer's IP address, if available, to identify the buyer's location. |
guessed_from_ip | Uses a guessed IP address based on the buyer's location. |
by_payment_method | Uses the buyer's payment method (except for the by_cc field) to identify the buyer's location. |
by_billing | Uses the buyer's billing information. |
by_tax_number | Uses the buyer's Tax ID to verify the buyer's location. |
self_declaration | Uses the buyer's self-declaration to verify the buyer's location. |
other_commercialy_relevant_info | Uses other commercially relevant information to verify the buyer's location. |
Each evidence type contains the following fields:

resolved_country_code | The country code associated with the verified evidence. |
evidence-type | The type of evidence. |
evidence_value | The value of the evidence. For example, the card number. |
