Configure your default location

The Vertex for Shopify integration uses the default location to determine the tax situs (tax jurisdiction). The default location is the address used when no other location is specified.

Only active locations can be used as the default location.

You can configure the default location from the Locations page in your Shopify admin.

Configure your default location

To configure your default location, follow these steps:

1. In your Shopify admin, select Settings > Locations.
2. In the Default location section, click Change to select the location from the dropdown list.
3. Click Save.
