The Vertex for Shopify connector uses the default location to determine the tax situs (tax jurisdiction). The default location is the address the connector uses when no other location is specified.

You can use only active locations as the default location.

Configure the default location from the Locations page in your Shopify admin.

To configure the default location, follow these steps:

1. In your Shopify admin, select Settings > Locations.
2. In the Default location section, click Change to select the location from the dropdown list.
3. Click Save.
