You can activate the Vertex for Shopify connector from the Taxes and duties page in your Shopify admin.

The connector calculates tax only after you activate it. After you activate the connector, it sends transaction and address details from Shopify to Vertex O Series for tax calculation. You must configure the connector before you activate it.

Activate the connector

To activate the connector, follow these steps:

1. In your Shopify admin, select Settings > Taxes and duties.
2. In the Tax service section, click Manage.
3. In the Apps section, find Vertex Tax & Compliance, and then click Activate.
4. Click Activate Vertex Tax & Compliance. An activation banner displays at the top of the page.
