Activate Vertex for Shopify

You can activate the Vertex for Shopify connector from the Taxes and duties page in your Shopify admin.

The Vertex for Shopify connector calculates tax only after you activate it. This allows Vertex for Shopify to pull transaction and address details from Shopify to calculate indirect tax in Vertex O Series. However, you should only activate the connector after you configure it.

Activate the connector

To activate the connector, follow these steps:

1. In your Shopify admin, select Settings > Taxes and duties.
2. In the Tax service section, click Manage.
3. In the Apps section, find Vertex Tax & Compliance, and then click Activate.
4. Click Activate Vertex Tax & Compliance. The activation banner displays at the top of the page.
