Uninstall Vertex for Shopify

Deactivate and uninstall the connector to revert to the default tax service.

You can deactivate or uninstall the Vertex for Shopify connector from the Taxes and duties page in your Shopify admin.

Deactivating the connector stops it from calculating taxes, but keeps the connection and tax settings available in your Shopify admin. Uninstalling the connector removes the connection and all the tax settings from your Shopify admin.

When you deactivate or uninstall the connector, your tax calculations revert to the default tax settings in your Shopify admin. In most cases, your tax settings revert to the tax service you used before you activated the connector.

Before you begin

Before you uninstall the connector, consider the following:

  • Uninstalling stops tax calculations from the connector.
  • Uninstalling reverts your tax settings to the default tax service in Shopify.
  • The connector may take up to 15 minutes to recognize these changes.
  • Other stores using the connector are not affected.

If you uninstall the connector and later want to use it again, you must reinstall, configure, and reactivate it.

Note:
