Here are the enhancements and resolutions we released for the service in 2025.
December 18
- Added support to automatically convert Bulgarian Lev (BGN) to Euro (EUR).
October 30
- You can configure SMTP settings to ensure invoices are sent from your domain.
- Added new user interfaces to simplify the creation and maintenance of business entities.
- Added new user interfaces to streamline settings configuration and maintenance for Vertex Invoice IQ customers.
August 1
- The invoice country is now included in the invoice number.
- Saudi Arabia invoices are now the only bilingual invoices. Invoices for Serbia and other previously bilingual countries now use a single language.
- Added triangulation footers for back-to-back European Union (EU) transactions.
- Corrected credit notes for the following countries:
- Andorra
- Croatia
- Czech Republic

- Updated the data source used to validate Egyptian Tax IDs.

- Updated invoices for Mexico and Albania to display the issue date.
- Updated invoices for physical goods to display the ship-to address.
- Updated invoices to display the discount totals and total discount tax.
- Renamed Fiscal Representatives to Tax Representatives on all invoices.
- Added tax breakdown details to business-to-business (B2B) invoices.
- You can now display non-VAT Tax IDs using the
buyer_tax_number_typeandbuyer_tax_numberfields. - Canada GST Tax IDs must now include the 6-character prefix (2 letters and 4 numbers) to pass syntax validation.
- Added support for bulk Tax ID validation. Use the Validate Tax IDs request to validate multiple IDs.
- Added support for non-VIES sources during Tax ID validation.
- Added automated CAPTCHA validation for countries, such as Italy, that require CAPTCHA for local tax ID validation.
June 6
- Delivered minor updates and improvements.
April 15
- Added support for two-party sales in Uganda for Vertex for Marketplace and Vertex Validator.
- Added support for two-party sales in Morocco for Vertex for Marketplace and Vertex Validator.
- Resolved an issue affecting Czech Tax ID validation.
- Added support for a new endpoint that allows you to validate Tax IDs without storing data in Vertex Validator.
- Added support to validate TAX IDs prefixed with
XIagainst the VIES database by default. - Resolved an issue where the Loading Validation Failed message sometimes appeared in the Tax Number Validations user interface.
- Added a new Tax ID source database for the Czech Republic.
February 26
- Resolved an Indonesian tax rate discrepancy.
- Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented the Vertex Validator settings from loading.
- Standalone Vertex Validator users can now configure notification settings for the Audit Report, including webhook and email notifications, as well as report storage settings.
- Removed the blank Business Name field from Swiss business-to-consumer (B2C) invoices.
- The seller's tax number now displays on applicable Swiss invoices.
- Updated the Audit Report so that the ship-to address fields display in separate columns rather than a single summarized line. Fields, such as ZIP Code, now appear in their own columns.
- Removed the decimal places for the following countries:
- Vietnamese Dong (VND)
- South Korean Won (KRW)
- Japanese Yen (JPY)
- Chilean Peso (CLP)
- Indonesian Rupiah (IDR)
- Taiwan Dollar (TWD)
