US Military Address Subdivisions
Define country subdivisions for the United States (US) military addresses for US-based sales.
You can configure United States (US) military addresses as country subdivision codes to support transactions shipping to US military locations. These addresses use special postal service designations rather than standard city and state names.
The United States uses the following military subdivision codes:
- Armed Forces Americas excluding Canada (US-AA)
- Armed Forces Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Canada (US-AE)
- Armed Forces Pacific (US-AP)
Configure these subdivisions the same way you configure any other subdivision.
Marketplace settings
Create the subdivision and enable tax for it in your marketplace settings. You can use the country_subdivisions.\..<new_key>.taxation.is_enabled setting, replacing <new_key> with the subdivision code.
Depending on your configuration, you may also need to enable additional marketplace settings. For details, refer to the Marketplace Settings Fields.
Seller settings
Create the same subdivision and enable tax for it in your seller settings. You can use the country_subdivisions.\<new_key>.taxation.is_enabled setting, replacing <new_key> with the subdivision code.
Depending on your configuration, you may also need to enable additional seller settings. For details, refer to the Seller Setting Fields.
